Ricky Sproston - Sports & Clinic Nutritionist
BSc Hons Nutritional Science from Manchester Metropolitan University specialising Clinic and Sport Nutrition.
Ricky is a full member on the Association for Nutrition (ANUTR) and can be found on their website.
He is currently working with a number of clients at the Streamline-Nutrition Surgery Stoke-on-Trent as well as visiting clients throughout the UK.
Ricky also offer talks and workshops to promote wellbeing and can be a booked for corporate events.
In a personal capacity he has also been working closely with senior health care professionals including dieticians, physiotherapists and surgeons in respect to his Fathers health following the complete removal of a small bowel (Small GI) in August 2015. As a result his Father requires a great deal of medication support via nutrition.
James Hewson - Personal Trainer
James has over 4 years of practical industry experience which gained him variety of fitness experience. James is a level 3 certified personal trainer with a range of certifications including level 4 exercise psychology, MMA fitness, suspension training, indoor cycling, behaviour change, motivational interviewing and has achieved the rugby ready foundation award.
Claire Horobin - Personal Trainer
Claire a certified level 2 Fitness Instructor & 3 level Personal Trainer. Certificates she holds are are: TRX, Spinning, gym boxing, kettlebells, functional training.
Claire is a part time reserve for the Royal Air force and works as a Personal Trainer Instructor providing the military personal with specific training methods to improve the troop’s fitness, muscular endurance, strength and cardiovascular endurance, whilst also working and delegating alongside other fitness instructors. She also works part time in a local leisure centre taking spin classes, Gym Instructor where she takes people through an Induction for them to learn how to use the equipment and help with their fitness plans. In between all this Claire is also studying at University taking her final year of sports science and exercise.
Claire is very passionate about Human fitness and wellbeing, by helping individuals to improving their health and wellbeing. It is important for her to be highly competent and enthusiastic whilst compassionate but firm with people skills as a personal trainer and a proven ability to help people achieve their fitness goals. In monitoring and recording a client’s physical fitness she is understanding of their needs enabling her to evaluate them to develop a practical and achievable workout routine for individuals to reach their required targets.
